I want to be a part of the next chapter of technology, where humans use the sea in a partnership in order to gain more for us without damaging the delicate ecosystem below the waters.

I think this is the largest challenge we may face, but I am ready and willing to conquer it. It is important to love what you do, and do what you love which is why I find comfort in my decision of becoming an engineer.

This will not be a boring job, new obstacles will present themselves every day and that will definitely keep things interesting; but as an engineer, as a mathematician, and as a problem solver, I think I can handle that. I chose engineering because I excel at mathematics and science courses and I have a knack for problem solving.

This is essentially what an engineer does: I love the objectivity of it. There is usually one right answer as far testing goes, though admittedly there may be many ways to get there. I find beauty in that.
